I get it… you don’t want to go on vacation in a war zone, but surely life is much more than bouncing between the tour bus and the gift shop?
Business Insider’s list of the 13 Safest contains the usual suspects. Some good ones (Hong Kong etc) but um..Safety, Hygiene, Tourists… 3 words that don’t tickle my goat.
Where are India, Indonesia, Thailand and Nepal? OK, not the cleanest and the most hygienic by any standards… but easily the most rewarding.
Business Insider’s tourist list contains 3 countries I’ve lived in: Spain, UK and Japan, so mark me down as a hypocrite but the journey hasn’t ended there.
We’ve been traveling the world for 5 years, living a location independent lifestyle… and there are still adventures ahead. I’d like to think my appetite for adventure has grown with age. The more I travel, the more I realize that adventure without risk is…well…just Disneyland.
